The completion ceremony of 4SEASONS

A completion ceremony for the 4D Space Access Neutron Spectrometer (4SEASONS) was held at the Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility on December 25.

4SEASONS was constructed by JAEA, KEK and Tohoku University, and was funded by Grant-in-Aid for Specially Promoted Research, MEXT. After some congratulatory addresses, the feature, construction process, software development, and scientific goal of 4SEASONS were explained in the ceremony. The ceremony finished with a group photograph of about 60 participants standing on the shield of 4SEASONS.
