Successful acceleration and transportation of proton beam
to J-PARC Hadron Experimental Hall
The J-PARC 50-GeV Synchrotron (MR*) has successfully extracted the proton beams of 30GeV to Hadron Experimental Hall in Nuclear and Particle Physics Facility. The Hadron Experimental Hall is one of the two facilities at MR and utilizes the various kinds of secondary particles generated by protons.

The commissioning started on January 27th, 2009. The proton beams, which were accelerated up to 30 GeV, were extracted to the Hall and transported to the beam dump at 19:35 on the same day.

The next step for the MR is the extraction of the beam to the Neutrino beam line (scheduled in April 2009) as well as the continuous efforts to increase the beam intensity.
