About the shutdown due to the Klystron power source failure
At 4: 10 a.m. Mar. 22nd, Klystron power source No. 1 in LINAC broke down and beam operations stopped accordingly. We investigated the causes with the manufacturer, and found out that a device generating high voltage to be supplied to the Klystron (an electron-tube to produce high-frequency wave) had defects.

We will exchange the defective power source into another one, and try to resume operations as soon as possible. To complete the restoration, it will take about seven to ten days. We will keep you informed, if any progress would be made on this situation.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Your kindest understanding would be really appreciated.
  Thank you.
