T2K discovery was selected as one of the top 100 science stories of 2013
We had good news at the end of the year 2013.
The T2K discovery of electron neutrino appearance from a muon neutrino beam was selected as one of the top 100 stories of 2013 in science by the Discover magazine of the USA.

The international T2K collaboration announced, for the first time in the world, the definite existence of the "Electron Neutrino Appearance Phenomenon" at a meeting of the European Physical Society held in Stockholm on July 19, 2013.

This discovery was selected and posted in the Math and physics category of the top 100 stories, titled gflavor-changing neutrinosh, whereas there was a total of 9 stories in this category.

Congratulations on the great achievement of the T2K collaboration!
