Postponement of the 2nd International Symposium of Science at J-PARC (J-PARC 2013)

 

      I deeply regret to announce that J-PARC 2013 on 28-30 October in Tsukuba has been postponed to the 2014 spring or later due to the leakage accident of radioactive material at the J-PARC Hadron Experimental Facility on 23 May 2013.

      The top priority for J-PARC Center at the present time is the investigation of the accident, the completion of a full safety review, and the development and implementation of new safety policies and procedures to prevent reoccurrence of such an accident

      Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconveniences and disappointments that may be caused by this postponement of J-PARC 2013.

      We will inform you new schedule for the symposium as soon as we can. We would deeply appreciate your understanding and continuous supportt.
