White            The Australian National University: Fellow of the Royal Society of            London and the Australian Academy of Science            The Former Chair of the J-PARC International Advisory Committee   Date : Wednesday, February 27 2013   Time : 3:40 - 5:15 pm  (Light afternoon tea will be served from 3:40 pm and the lecture will start at 4:00 pm.)    Location : 2nd conference hall of IQBRC    The colloquium will be broadcast to KEK, Tsukuba by a video link.     (Venue: mid size meeting room, the 1st floor of the No. 2 building)  Prof. White is an internationally recognized leader in the development and application of novel techniques using neutron and X-ray scattering. In this lecture, Prof. White will reveal the secrets to transforming J-PARC into a world leading center of scientific excellence with a truly international research culture and outlook.
