Proposals from universities or academic institutions that are approved to use any KEK neutron instrument (BL05, BL08, BL12, BL16 or BL21) will be supported by the Inter-University Research Program. Private companies wishing to use any KEK instrument are requested to contact the J-PARC Users Office before submitting a proposal.
Industrial applications research on the instruments operated by Ibaraki Prefecture (BL03 and BL20) are conducted under a different program, and proposals are called separately. For more information, please contact the following:

For the Public Beamlines (BL01, BL02, BL11, BL15, BL17 and BL18), CROSS-Tokai accepts proposals jointly with MLF via the J-PARC Proposal Submission System. Please visit the CROSS-Tokai website for more information about CROSS-Tokai and its activities.

Accepted proposals from universities or academic institutions to use any KEK muon instruments (D1 and D2) will be supported by the Inter-University Research Program. Private companies wishing to use any muon instrument are requested to contact the J-PARC Center Users Office before submitting a proposal.
J-PARC also welcomes Preliminary (P-type) proposals to use the muon instruments at the MLF. If submitting a P-type proposal, please designate it as such within the online system when prompted.
