Accepted papers will be presented as invited, oral, or poster. High-quality full papers with sufficient materials science and engineering content relevant to the workshop topics will selected by the organizers to be included in a special volume of a Journal.

IWSMT-14 will take place 11th - 16th Nov., 2018, at Iwaki Business Innovation Center in Iwaki, Fukushima, Japan, which hosts the Iwaki hot spring and Aquarium and many other excellent attractions.

Iwaki City is located in the Tohoku region of Japan, about two hours from Tokyo using JR Joban line express train.
All participants are invited to welcome reception at "Bar&Restrante La Pa Pa" on Sunday evening. The reception will be start at 18:00 and will be closed at around 20:00.
"Bar&Restrante La Pa Pa" is located on 3rd floor of the LATOV building, the same place of the conference venue.

A chartered bus will depart from IWSMT-14 meeting venue to the Hawaiians.
“Participants must reserve the hotel by themselves.”
The conference venue is located in front of Iwaki station. There are many reasonable hotels around Iwaki station. Please see the attached list. You can access the venue on foot within 5 or 10 minutes.
You can enjoy traditional Japanese-style hot spring at Iwaki Yumoto. There are several Japanese-style hotels, “Ryokan”.
JR Joban local line will take you to Yumoto station, the nearest station to Iwaki Yumoto, in 10 min fron Iwaki station. One or two local train(s) and an express train are scheduled every single hour. Fee is 200 yen (for local train) and 950 yen(for express train)
