MLFでは10月16日からRUN#35の供用運転を行っていましたが、10月23日20:00過ぎに極低温水素循環システムのヘリウム冷凍機系の熱交換器付近の温度が上昇したため運転を停止しました。
系内の不純物の除去等の対処が必要と判断し措置を講じているところですが、今後の運転で同様な事象を繰り返さないように慎重に作業を行うこととしました。
このため、10月24〜31日に予定した供用運転は取り止めとさせて頂くことになりました。
この期間に利用を予定された皆様にはご迷惑をお掛けすることとなり、深くお詫びします。

The beam delivery for MLF user program which begun on October 16 was stopped around 20:00 of October 23rd because unacceptable temperature rise was detected at the heat exchanger of the helium refrigerator component in the cryogenics hydrogen system for moderators.
Recovery measures such as the purification of the helium refrigerator loop are already under progress.
For our sorry, however, it takes time to secure the performance of the helium refrigerator loop for the coming run cycles, so that the user program from October 24 to 7 am of November 1 has to be cancelled.
