3. Description :
On April 25, 2023, a power supply in MR Power Supply Building No.2 of J-PARC, used for magnets, indicated abnormal state. At around 17:15, a KEK staff inspected the site and observed a fire from a transformer in a power-supply panel. The same staff conducted the initial fire extinguishing with a powder fire extinguisher and called the fire department. At 17:58, the fire department judged this as a fire incident, and the fire had already been extinguished.
