Participation in the "VACUUM 2025" Held at Tokyo Big Sight, December 3-5
VACUUM 2025 is one of the largest comprehensive exhibitions of vacuum equipment and systems in Japan, where the latest products and technologies related to vacuum technology are presented, bringing together companies and researchers in relevant fields.
At this event, J-PARC showcased a vacuum sample transfer case and getter sheets-developed in collaboration with partner companies--that utilize getter coating technology derived from J-PARC's vacuum technology. This technology enables the maintenance of ultra-high vacuum conditions without conventional pumping by coating getter materials on the surfaces of vacuum components.
At the venue, many visitors, mainly from vacuum equipment manufacturers and companies requiring ultra-high vacuum systems, asked technical questions regarding performance and inquiries about procurement. We also received positive feedback suggesting that this technology has potential applications in fields where stable ultra-high vacuum with reduced power consumption is becoming increasingly important, such as semiconductors, fusion and quantum computing.
